There is one main road leading into the valley with some bus stops. An important connection possibility, because the bus takes still a lot of employees to the near town Trinec 6 km far away (population about 42´000), where the ironworks are the major employer with about 5´000 jobs.( in socialism, before 1989, there were once 20´000 employees). Still people are not pessimistic, looking straight forward, making the best out of their situation, trying to grasp their own fortune. Trinec is the main town in the district, holding offices and now all financial power over all surrounding villages, like Tyra. One of their opinions about the council in Trinec is, that “they do not care anymore about us in Tyra”, “they do not invest money into restoration or preservation of the village structure”. It must be mentioned, since the price on ore resources like steel, copper, tin and chrome reached high levels on the world market, the manufacturing industry of the Ironworks scored in high profits, keeping in mind the key position in this triangle between Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia. On this point the Tyraner bother, so they intend more autonomy of Trinec.
